Real talk here because i'm feeling sassy since I just finished finals-- I feel like one of the largest injustices our society bestows on its people is the idea that happiness or paradise is a place or an accomplishment. The amount of times I hear "I'll be happy when... [insert accomplishment, future time, etc]" is disheartening to say the least. This is precious time we can't get back wasting on looking for tomorrow when we have TODAY. These should be every day feelings! It's a state of mind, a sense of peace, and comfort in knowing that YOU are important and because you know you are important you address your WANTS, your NEEDS, and you take care of yourself because you. love. yourself. It's actually quite simple. Once you are brave enough to put yourself first, recognize your worth, and find inner peace within yourself, you'll be in paradise everywhere you go. Finders, keepers!
